So I also made some skillet cornbread with those amazing beef ribs the other day and below is how I put my spin on this skillet cornbread.
I cover @kochcookware skillet in butter before I started on the batter. I used two boxes of 8.5 jiffy corn muffin mix made separately, yes there is a reason.
I also add a half stick of butter sliced in smaller chunks that I distribute into both batter mixtures. As I finish pouring one batter into the skillet I gently pour 1/4 cup of real honey atop the batter mixture in before pouring in second batch.
I had to bake for about 32 minutes until golden brown, then I used soft butter to spread across while it cooled given it an even more buttery texture
